EVENTS
Its the photographer's task to explore, photograph and share with others the multitude of interesting aspects in our world and our lives. We expose to others what we see, that which they might otherwise miss.

On past websites that I have created, I devoted galleries to events that I attended and photographed. This required a lot of time and space which I don't have since stepping back a bit on my website. The last dog competition alone, I posted over a thousand images for competitors to view and purchase. So unless I'm doing an event I was contracted for and need to display those pictures or I hear from folks that express an interest in specific events, I will just post major events that I enjoyed and post a limited number of pictures in galleries.

NORTH AMERICAN GUN DOG COMPETITION (2009)
The NAGDA competition became quit an event for my son and myself. This was our first experience photographing hunters and their dogs as a competitive team. The competition was intense with scores separated by the smallest of margins. But with all this going on, it was a friendly family oriented event which we enjoyed. The days were very busy with lots of activity filled with great opportunities for pictures. Despite the sun, wind, dust (not great for cameras), some minor bumps and scraps and being dropped off the back of a gator, I hope we captured some moments in time that you enjoyed on my previous postings.

After attending the races for many years prior to this and photographing the event with film, this was the first race I shot digitally not to mention that I love racing. (2011)
This is one of many Indy races that I have photographed, but 2011 was the Indianapolis 500 Centennial. (2012)
One year after Dan Wheldon won here and sadly died at Las Vegas to end the season I made it back. There was a nice tribute and it was the first opportunity for me to shoot the new cars Dan Wheldon had been testing for this season. Had some new people with us this year and they loved it. For information on the Indy Car racing series |
